Moving Forward

I have this saying on a t-shirt, and my bf thought it was a rude statement to onlookers not to check me out - I disagree! Its a beautiful inspirational message : )
Exodus 14:15
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward.

This evening I want to encourage you all to Move Forward!  I know that is all I really want to say just move forward but I know sometimes that can be hard.  At times we have others reminding us of our past, not letting us forget about the way we used to be but I want to encourage you that if you have died to your old self, you have let it go and asked your heavenly Father to forgive you then that settles it.  God said that that he is faithful and just to forgive you of your sins and forgive you of all unrighteousness.  God said that!  The Father of all creation.  He said it.  I have made many mistakes in my life. Some that worse than others but I know that if I confess it to God, he is faithful and Just to forgive.  The person on the other side may not forgive you now or later but know that God has forgiven you.  Lies told, crazy lives that were lived, things you have said to those you love, but know that God has said I forgive you and let's move forward.  Don't let others remind you of a past you have been forgiven for.  I have decided that I will not continue to take responsibility for the actions, and thoughts that others think.  You have to let that person know how you feel, that you made that mistake in the past but you now are moving forward.  When you speak it, you are released of the guilt and shame.  Those things and thoughts that are thought in between you can't be responsible for them, you can only be responsibly for your exact actions.  Take that responsibility and move forward.  God makes all things new!  Including You!  He said that you are a new creation and that all old things have passed away.   The way you used to live is not you now!  That person you used to be is gone.  If you have given your life to Christ, changed your ways then be proud of that!  Don't be stripped of the grace you were given to be forgiven!  Walk in what Christ died to give you, life and life more abundantly.    God does not want you to get soaked up in a past life, deed, or action you were in, He want you to now get soaked up in the fact that your are new!  Just as the man at the gate called Beautiful was told to pick up his mat and walk.  They were telling him to Move Forward!  Just as the woman at the well had done all these horrible things, but when she met Jesus he forgave her and told her she is forgiven!  Just as the Lord God of Hosts told Moses to tell his people to go forward.  He said I have forgiven you, I have given you all you need to be successful, don't cry out to me just move!  Walk in the forgiveness he has given.  Don't let anyone continue to remind you of your past and things that God has forgiven you for. If you have acknowledged your wrong, said your sincere apologies and have decided not to make that mistake again then you just MOVE, and MOVE FORWARD!  Don't go back to your past.  There is no room for the past and God cannot work and move in your past but in your future.

God Bless,

Here are some additional scriptures.

Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. -
Joshua 1:7
Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,

What Compels You?

 .good morning Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life.
2 Corinthians 5:14  NLT
Compel- bring about (something) by the use of force or pressure.

Today I want to speak about what compels you?  So often we let the cares of the world compels us to be the type of person we are or have become.  Does your love for money compel you to always work really long hours and don't see your family?  Does your unwillingness to be humble compel you to not be able to stay quiet even when things are said that can cause offense?  What compels you?  We should not be so quick to let things compel us to get out of character or for others to question our Christianity.  The question in the image above is what I really want to talk about.  Since you now have Christ you are new.  You have new ways, new ways of thinking, new way of conduct yet the old still seem to be so close and not feel as far away as it should be. Am I talking to someone?  We should be compelled by our Father to love, to be humble, to be kind, to be wise about our lives and the things we are doing.  How Can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?  How can we?  So often we can quote scriptures we can show outwardly with the words we speak that we love God and have a relationship with him but not all the time we are moved by him with our decision we make on friendships, relationships, money, our children, jobs, gifts etc.  We are moved by our own impulses and what we think we need and want.  This life we are living is for Him.  When you really get into the spirit and are moved by God, you begin to look at everything you do as doing it for him and as a service to the one who has authority over your life.  This does take time. It does not happen all at once  I have been a Christian for a long time and I am really just starting to really get the hang of this. Some areas are more mature than other but I try to ask myself this question and self evaluate, pray, spend time in the word, and grow.  The last time we talked we talked about being Heaven Bound.  Being Compelled by God is preparing for Heaven because everything you do there will be for him and him only. You need to start saying " I will worship, you Lord, only you Lord, I will bow down, for you, only you Lord".  Just like the Christian song is expressing about our Lord. Your old life is gone, it is history!  His love for you took your old sinful life away and gave you a brand new one a new live that drives you to make right decision and choices and not only that but,  those decisions and choices are driven by your oneness with Christ!
God Bless,

Heaven Bound

Heaven bound!
Seek first His kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
I wanted to share ladies that all that we go through, all the pains, all the life lessons, the purpose you have been given is all to prepare you for Heaven.  Sometimes this can be scary because we have families that depend on us,  we want to make sure we are successful, live long, and be in good health for them but in all reality, all these things are good things that God gives us is for our eternal home and dwelling.  As I spend more time with God I am realizing that my main reason for living and being successful should be for God.  When things are going bad We should want things to get better for him not just for our own personal selfish reasons.  His word says for us to seek first his kingdom and all his righteousness and all these thing will be added to you. Matthew 6:33  The way our culture is, we feel the pressures of take care of kids, husband, family, job etc. but we really need to make God the center of everything.  Are we taking good care of the kids so they can get good jobs, have great education and know how to have manners, or are we taking good care of them so that they know God, and respect and love him the way you do?  Heaven is our main Goal and often we don't see it this way.  We ask God to make us successful for this life, but we don't think of moving past this life.  We are not thinking Heaven Bound.  Heaven Bound women think of Your personal relationship with God, and how to develop and nurture it.  Don't think of Ministry, and just doing works but think of it as This is my service to God for my personal relationship and heavenly reward.  Invest in your future home which is your permanent home one day.
Your Worship! Your worship should be with thoughts of all of heavens Glory.  What provokes God to prepare you even more for your final destination.  Is your worship out of  love and adoration for God?
Your Faith!  Is your faith strong enough to deny your thoughts and trust God's thoughts on it?  I think this may be one of the hardest ones but it is important to be on your way to heaven.
Your Love!  How is your love for God for who he is and not just for what he does and can do for you?  How is your love for others? Compassion?  Christlike Mindedness?
Being Heaven Bound Is Beautiful
