This tea and tags mini that I made reminds me of all the love that season brings. And this project is a great way tho preserve those memories. The pockets that hold the tea right now and the tags can hold pictures and journaling spots of great things to remember.

This bible is awesome. First I love that it is a mapping system for the bible. Often it is hard to find a fun innovative way to read the bible daily with themes important events, and a lead to the next. This bible in particular reminds me of a history book. I love the color codes, the color mapping system and the set up of the key points. With the Wayfinding bible you get three different types of routes you can take to give you the understanding you need of the bible and the purpose that we use the bible for. The first Route is the fly over route which is the route I chose to review in a timely manner. This route gives you great details on the major events like creation the fall, the flood, the Covenant with Abraham. There is also the direct route that gives more scriptures in detail and gives you about 200 reading scriptures to get a better more deep understanding of the bible. While the fly over route only gives about 50 readings on the most important events and how they tell one huge story. Then there is the last route the Scenic Route. This route gives an in depth study giving you a combination of the other two with more background information and study.
I want to talk more about the mapping system; each route has a icon and page where you start. It maps you with an arrow on each page on when you need to go to the next page depending on the route you chose at the beginning of your reading. It gives you a point at how many reading you have accomplished so far on your route, and what passages to read next. Once you have done your reading it will tell you where to go. You may have to skip pages and that is okay, as long as you stay on your route and follow the map. I actually really love this. I love that I feel like I am going on a journey even though I am taking either the shorter route or longest I still get all these intros and exploration points and observation points. On some of the routes you may have to go backward but just stay the course. I like that if you do stop on a page that is not on your route, you won’t get a reading. The Wayfinding Bible has done all the guess work out of your bible reading plan.
I also love about this bible is that everything that it directs you to is in traveling terms. I love that someone had a sense of humor, I use the creative side of my brain a lot this really exercises it! In the back of the bible it has a section I love called Itinerary which gives you the events you went over and the actual route it is on. It gives you the scriptures, and page numbers to get to it easily. It also has a section called Side Trips. These are topics that we all wonder what the bible has to say about whether it is healing, the power of the Holy Spirit, prayer, about the love of God. Then points of interest go into more topics like anger, arguments, advice, hope etc.
I really love this bible and have already recommended it to friends and even let them check it out and they have all went out and purchased this bible. It has so much more that I can’t even go over in this review. I enjoy every minute that I read it and I love that I find such valuable information that Is useful for so informative.
I received a free copy of this bible in exchange for my honest opinion of
Here is a link to the Wayfinding Bible Trailer:

Where most people are full swing in Christmas mode I have been in a giving thanks mood. I love Thanksgiving time. Where we reflect on the wonderful friends and family that surround us and where we are reminded about just how "Good" we have things. A roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, food on our table, and most importantly a God who deeply loves us, that He would give up His Son that we all would have the opportunity to have a relationship with Him directly! I don't know of another God who would do this; and I have looked.
So this card is for the One who gave me all the things I am grateful for. "Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name." (2 Sam 22:50; Psalm 18:49 NKJV)

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV
For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not [a]adjusted and [b]adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to [c]a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently. 1 Corinthians 10:13AMP
This scripture really touched me today because I get to see how awesome God is and how he is always looking out for his. For me this is no temptation like causing you to be Afraid and therefore question your faith shall overtake you. Sometime we use this only when we are going through something bad like a fight, an argument, or just to not do something that you know is wrong but is for fear, I believe that fear that causes you to question your faith or to waver in what God words says is a temptation. The Devil produces a lot of temptation and cause you to doubt your faith is one if them. See he works both ends of your relationship you and God has. He goes to God and accuse you that you don't deserve anything from God, them he comes to you to try you and to temp you to make you believe that God does not love you or care about you. This is how the enemy works. But I have added the New King James Version and the Amplified Version because this version really digs to the core of the scripture. It ends with God being faithful and making a way of escape. That if we are going through it, that means we can handle it. Nothing will be as painful as it is intended to be because of God's hand on your life. I get so much joy in my heart thinking of this scripture because of what it means.
One of our key purposes in life is to spread the Word of God to those who may not know Christ. Talking, passing out tracks, and having outreach encounters are all effective methods of evangelism. However, I found that graphic tee shirts may have a greater impact! I know a lot of people are afraid to talk to people. It is no secret, people LOVE to read what is one other people's tee shirts. The flasher the tee, the more it attracts! You can spread the Word and not utter one single word!
Recently, my brother had a birthday and my sister wanted to design a shirt using his favorite scripture; Jeremiah 29:11. Graffiti tees are really in but the message is still the same! People who read his shirt is getting the Word! They may not accept it in the beginning, but it can spark a conversation which in turn is an opportunity to talk about the Savior!
I hope this project inspired you to implement apparel in your outreach methods.... I know I have!!
Be blessed to be a blessing, Kenya~

This week I have been reflecting on a lot of things. A cold snap has come to our area in OR a bit early, and as I drove down the street one evening I noticed a man walking the streets with a down comforter wrapped around his head, shoulders, and body, clenching it tightly. Another day, while driving out of a parking to I saw a young man holding a sign that said, "Anything Helps. Hungry". Yet another day I was chatting with my Brother and Sister in Christ and then to my husband about Spiritual topics like healing and faith, praise and worship and salvation.
Yesterday I was chatting with a co-worker who in general conversation made the statement, "You're Lucky," and I realized no I'm not, I'm Blessed!! Luck has no place in the life of a Child of God. If our Heavenly Father doesn't rely on luck why should we?
No, I'm blessed. Blessed that I have a warm roof over my head, blessed that I have a vehicle that takes me to and fro, blessed that I have food in my refrigerator or can choose to dine out. Blessed that I have not just true friends but a Brother and Sister that I love and am thankful for, beyond comprehension. Blessed that I am part of a House of Worship that teaches the truth of God's word and how to have a "relationship" with Him, blessed to have the opportunity to openly worship and love on God.
I could have ten thousand days and still not have enough time to list all the ways in which the Lord has blessed me. Instead I have this banner to help me count the ways that God has blessed me exceeding abundantly above all that I could ask or think.
2 Corinthians 9:8 - And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
