This summer for me is all about reading. It is one of my favorite things to do during the summer. There is a new book by an author name Tindell Baldwin. It is a non fiction book about her life. It's is about her struggles as a team all the worldly things she got into and how she went from a crazy, spiraling out of control life to accepting her Christian life and ultimately living for God. This book is excellent for moms to get a glimpse of why teen daughters May do some of the things they do and how easily it can be do do the wrong thing for all the right reasons. She starts at fifteen doing things like drinking smoking, sex at an early age all while she did know Christ but did not know how to really know him. Moms should read this. My oldest is only 11 years old but I am reading this and boy is this great to have a glimpse. Also great for teens that May be doing these very exact things that she did. Hey can now know they don't have to do these things. This is a must read forChristian moms and teens. Our children have a relationship with God because of us but there is their own time when they must experience him for themselves, through real tough mistakes, and life lessons. Praise to Tindell Baldwin for sharing her story. Please pick this book up. You will love the two parts Dark which talks about the worse time in her life and light. About redemption. Our teens can make it!
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and review of this title.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Ezekiel 36:26-27 NIV
The one thing I am digging deeper into is God's Grace. I am just seeing how amazing it is and how Grace is the one thing that we don't deserve yet God gives it to us freely. God surrounds us in every situation, every part of our lives with Grace. It is the one thing that helps us grow. The more we see that God did for us even when we continue to mess up, it allows us to want to please him simply because he gave us something that he did not have to give.
God's grace is amazing. As today I was studying on it and really stumbled across this scripture and really wanted to dig deeper into grace, I found that when we use grace it is just the surface. It goes beyond just knowing that God gives us what we don't deserve. That unmerited favor. It is that Voice, that is calling us to change. It's not about God giving us grace when we are being stupid and still helping us anyway but it is to cause us to change. It's like a relationship with someone. When you make a mistake and you know it is a terrible one, but the person that you have caused that great pain to showed your grace and you loved that person even more and it caused you to want to make a change because of the love, forgiveness and compassion they showed even in your mess. That is what Grace is. It gives you the power to change. When you experience his grace and understand a portion of what it means it has the power to help you actually be successful at that change. God designed this just for us. He gave us grace before we were even put on this earth so it is a constant renewal a constant change of heart. That is what this scripture is. God gives us the newness. He gives he gives the spirit we need to continue in grace and to never take for granted again. God is the only relationship we have in the world that is not if you do this I will do that. It is not on barter. Grace is what he has given us and we can't do anything to gain it or keep it. God gives us exactly what we need to
make it thought the things we go through he gives us grace! God was gracious enough to give us a part of him so that we can make it through this life. You are strong enough for this life because of his grace.

Don't ever be afraid to take the next step in your life. Sure it is hard getting out of your comfort zone but it could very well be the best thing you have ever done. It's good to have stability and have the crutch that keeps you without worry but I can honestly say that when we get too comfortable we often times limited our abilities to do better or see our full potential. How will you ever know how good you are or could be at something unless you stepped out on faith. Faith Out Loud to me is just not only thinking you can do better, or even have better, but it is taking the steps towards that direction. Yes it is good to think of how much more potential you have than what you are currently doing but have enough faith to move on it and move out of the comfort zone. It is not always an easy thing to do. Sometimes it means leaving some friends behind for a little while, it is even getting to know some different people. Sometimes it means your daily routines with others may change, but it is sometimes what is best for you. If you truly believe that you can do something great then you can! you have God on your side and he enables us to be successful! If you have a nudge at your heart that you need to make a change then get with God and make the change. Taking little steps and depending on God every step of the way and he will do it. God will not let us fail. He only desires for us to do better and to get the most out of this life. If you believe you can be the next greatest writer than move towards that big picture, if you believe that you can be the next great teacher than do what you need to do to move towards that big picture. Here are a few things you should know.
1. If you are too comfortable where you are and if you slightly have to change something it disrupts your whole day then it is time to have Faith Out Loud! It's time to seek God on the big picture.
2. Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might. Ecc 9:10. If you want to really move towards God's ultimate plan for your life you have to master the basics. You have to work at those as if your life depends on it. Find every area of what can make that better until you can say this needs no more fixing.
3. Be honest about yourself and where you want to be. Don't continue to settle. this means staying comfortable. Really talk to God and yourself about what your full potential really is. You know what you are capable of and God really knows. He knows things that you would not even think you would be good at start to develop you.
4. Pay attention to signs. Especially if it is for your career you need to pay close attention to the plans of others and how they are treating you and others. You never want to make long term goals with someone or a company a department or team that shows lack of interest in your growth. This is very important because if you are too comfortable you will sit there and stay without any fulfillment. God desires for us to have fulfilling Jobs and Careers He desires for us to enjoy what we do women. He talks about this in the proverbs 31 woman. She worked really hard and did a lot but she enjoyed it therefore she was successful and her business was booming!
5. Move and do what God tells you to. Follow his voice and seek him constantly all the way through. The only way you will know if it is from God if you just step out on it. Don't give up on him half way through! You have to let him see you through it to the end.
6. God will come out Victorious and so will you!
Faith out loud and doing what the spirit is nudging you to do and stepping out on it even when others think you are crazy and even when to you it seems a little crazy! the unknowing is scary but the end result is always great! You will be one step closer to what you are designed to do. God also will determine how long you stay at this step until it is time to have Faith Out Loud again.
I hope this helps my Sisters in Christ ! I am sharing what I am walking in right now so don't think you are alone.

So It is summer for most of us, where our children are now out of school for the year, they are moving on to the next grade and now the fun begins. I love the summer time because I get to sleep in a little, I get to have a new routine for awhile and for me lots of reading. I love books, and reading. I love to just sit outside during the cooler parts of the day and read books. I have my Kindle fire that is just the right size of a small book that I can just wrap a small blanket around me and watch the kids play and read. There are so many ways to get into reading, you can join a book club and read along with a group. Body and Soul Publishing is a great one because I get to read along with Christian Title, both fiction and Non Fiction. You can also join and blog for a publishing company. Right now I blog for Tyndale Publishing and get free Christian book title for my honest review and opinion on the read. They also have a summer program to earn free books! So there are Lot's of ways to get into reading. Also #1 there is the bible. This should already be apart of a Christians daily life but if it is not then, this summer is a great time to start. A lot of people may advise you to start by committing to reading the bible in a year and follow that plan. That never worked for me. I started it and within a month I was no longer following it. I did not get fulfillment reading that way. The commitment I did challenge myself to and still do is reading on those top topics I have questions about that I have not got answers to. This will keep you following the plan because you are reading what interest you and it will prompt you to read more. Think about all the questions you have about God and about things in your life that you want God to show you answers too? Here is how to get started on this type of reading plan:
1. Find you a great Christian Fiction read or an interesting read that is appropriate
2. Write a list of things that you want to learn about God or questions you have that need answers to.
3. Once you have your list go to your concordance in the bible and it will give your scriptures on that topic. Write down all the scriptures that are listed for the topic you chose. If you are using the Internet to search you probably will be sent to a site that will talk about that topic and give scriptures. Sort of like this site:)
4. Spend time reading those scriptures and think about how you can apply them to your current situation (s). Meditate on the scriptures and just pray about what you have read. The more you do this daily the more interesting the bible will get because you are reading things that affects your life, your day to day.
5. After reading your bible scriptures and you still want to read or you want to read something different pick up that Christian Fiction book you picked out or other interesting appropriate read and enjoy a great read!
Those are some basic Summer Reading Plans and I hope they are useful to you. Let me know if you have any questions or need any additional help. I have some information on different sites for books, Bible topical reading material and more. Just send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org Happy Summer Reading!!!!!!

I did a bible study teaching at church on Love. We focus so much on trying to show God that we love him by our works and the things that we are doing but in order to really show God our love for him we first have to realize he first loved us, that he loves us so much. It really is great to have a desire to want to show God we love him but when we try and replace what he first gave us and try and prove our love by doing stuff then that is where the problem is. We have to move and operate in him, not in what we are trying to accomplish to show our love. We fall short daily. If you are waking up everyday determining that you are going to get God's attention and prove to him you love him by trying to accomplish tasks, then you are doing yourself a dis service. In all reality God first loved us and that we show our love for him by giving it to others. That is what 1 John 4:10-12 says:
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Seeing God Through Love12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
We can't out love God, so he did not even give us the challenge of trying to love him in the same manner he loves us. He told us that since he loved us we also should love one another. The reason we work, and work in the kingdom and often not satisfied is because we are working to try and show God we love him. If everything we try to do is based upon trying to earn his love that is wrong. The bible clearly states that God so loved the world that he gave... Not We gave! It also states that We show him we love him by being Obedient. Which is first Loving others! You see how this works. It all wraps around LOVE! His love Not Ours! Let's look at some truths about Love.
Love is a Fruit Of The Spirit.
It was the first Fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians
The payment of receiving Jesus is Love, and all the other fruits.
The Spirit is Love
Without the Spirit he could not have made creation, the World, no Christians, No Faith, No New Birth, No Holiness, No bible, No New testament No power to proclaim the gospel, no Universe, No forgiveness. Without love there would not be any of those things also.
Love is the Foundation of all things! Spirit and Love works together.
God gave us More love as a payment for accepting his son so that we can be everything he created us to be. Without God( without Love) we are nothing. But with God ( love) we are everything!
Love was put in place so that we can be successful. We are not successful without Love alone!
Without True Love we are crazy and stupid! When I taught this message it was funny to me because I remember what I thought love was as teenager. I remember dating and just thinking I was in love. I remember getting in arguments and fights over a guy. I remember getting so upset that I punched a locker once because of something that happened with a guy I so called loved when I was a teen. Crying and being so upset. When I think about it, it was not true love and I was acting crazy and stupid. Saying and doing things that just did not make any sense at all! And the Love I now experience from not only my Husband, but first my Heavenly Father, I don't act that way! God's love does not cause me to be sad, to want to hit things and have rage. So that is why when I say without true love we are crazy and stupid, we really are, without that true Agape love that God gives.
Read Acts 5:3-4 for crazy and stupid example. It really is a great example.
We are to walk in God love for us not walk in and operate in our love for God. Our love is conditional not unconditional like God's love. We can't operate based on what we feel our love is for God. We will never get to where we need to be. One day we can love God and want to spend lot's of time with him and others we can not want to do any of that.
God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16
This is how you show God you love him but believing and doing what he says!
He loved us enough to heal us, to heal the land from never experiencing all his goodness by sending Jesus.
He loved us enough to be jealous to give every one in the human race a chance to invite him in our hearts.
He loved us enough to give grace and mercy in spite of how imperfect we are.
You can't beat that love so stop trying. We all want to just show God we love him but something things a lot of us are just doing unnecessary. ( Being in church all day everyday but our home life is not in order, teaching others about how to love God and apply principles but we are not teaching them in our home. Making your schedule full with "Christian Activities" and have not time to relax, reflect, study for your own peace and sanity. I knew things were not right in my life in this area when I would go to church be half happy but as soon as I get in the car I was yelling at the kids, not having the right relationship with my Husband it was tense in the home, I only found happiness and peace while I was doing a Christian Activity and the minute I was outside of that event with my family I felt like I had no life and that I was not a true child of God. I felt condemnation, Conviction, and self pity.
It was not that God was making me feel this way but I was only happy when I was doing things that I thought showed God I loved him. I did not find love in the things I should have been seeing as showing God I love him like, Loving my neighbors, Loving my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Giving Generously, Being a Mother to my children and making sure I was giving them my best, being a Wife and homemaker to the best of my ability, Studying for hours because I really loved God on the inside and wanted to know everything about him. Spending time in prayer and worship to reverence him. Those things I did not see as showing God I loved him, but I felt that I had to be actively ripping and running all over the place, being at church for everything, Prayer, this meeting that meeting, and trying to please people with works in the Church. Thank God for his direction!
This is how we should love:
1 John 3:11-16
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.
13 Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother[a] abides in death. 15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
