Wishing you and your family a great Thanksgiving day. Enjoy all your family friends and the time that you do not always get to rejoice and just fellowship. Be thankful for forgiveness, for love, for peace, for joy, for patience, and for your health and strength. I know when I was going through my hard time what kept me going was to be thankful that I can do what I can do and that it could always be worse. Some of you are traveling this holiday be safe, keep God with you where ever you go. Give to someone who may not be having a thanksgiving as fortunate as you are. What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
With some of the things that has happened to me in the last few days I would say I am thankful for the power of forgiveness, and the power it holds. When we wrong people in our lives or feel someone has wronged us the power is in your ability to forgive. You can stop blessings in your life for not being forgiving. You can cause someone not to take God seriously for not being forgiving. Look at Jesus when he died on the cross. If he did not say father forgive them for they know not what they do. We all would be doomed right now. He would not have been the perfect sacrifice if he had not been forgiving. This power has worked in my life two fold this week. I have had to forgive and let go for something that at one point was impossible but I choose to let God heal me of those scars. Then two days later I was forgiving for something that someone felt I had done wrong to them. Both situations unrelated but God had made his promise come true. There is always seed time and harvest. I am thankful and bless this year! Last year I was sick, trying to get better still believing God for my healing and today I stand Healed in the name of Jesus.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
