Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”
Life is full of circumstance and tribulation, test, tempatation, but if we believe in God we are commanded to live by faith. It is not an option but a command. We are not to draw back from God and what he has told us we are entitled to. I want to talk about the prophet Habakkuk. He was full of questions to God. Questions about life, why things were the way they are. Why is seemed like God was silient. God gave his answers to his questions. Maybe tonight you have questions. Why things have not turned around for you yet. Why your children have not changed. Why your husband has not changed. Why your job situation has not changed. But I want you to know that God has the answers for you. We have to wait for his appointed time. He timing is the best timing. When we try and do things ourself we delay a sure future. Ask questions God wants to give them to you but live by faith. Have faith in what he had promised for staying strong and not giving up. Read Habakkuk it is a short book and see what God promises at his appointed time. I am going to go further on this teaching but I felt someone needed a little something to hear tonight.
