Monday July 25th Devotional

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
1Corinthians 15:58

I have this scripture as one of my scriptures for the work place.  This scripture got me on my way this morning and gave me a positive perspective on a Monday morning.  Mondays are always the hardest put I was lifted and encouraged by this scripture.  We know that in the work place there are always demands from us and some that are unreasonable and some that are just a pain to tackle.  But God tells us to be strong, be immovable...and know that nothing we do is in vain.

So many people want so much from us, although one day they are happy with us and the next they are not we can do what this scripture says to do.  I remember at one time in my life moving to other peoples actions and thoughts of me.  If they had a problem with me then what was a good day will trun bad because I was moving with their feelings and actions.  I can only imagie if I moved each time my family member, friend or even spouse, had a crazy though for the day or started to think irrationally, I would be crazy and bi-polar by choice.  But I have decided to make this scripture apart of my daily walk.  You do the same today also.

God Bless
