He works it all out

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:31-32

A Woman is sexually abused by her father for 15 years.  While she had excepted Christ into her live when she was a child, the abuse did not stop. This was heartbreaking for her because the person doing it was her father.  Her own flesh and blood.  The man that was supposed to nurture her and show her how another man is supposed to treat her.  She would dread her father coming home and always tried to be asleep when he walked through the doors so that he would pass by her room.  Most of the time that did not happen he did it anyway.  She tried to tell her mom but her mom did nothing about what she was telling her, She did not really believe her for that matter.  She often prayed to God to deliver her from what she was going through but he did not.  Eventually she grew up and moved out of the house and that is when the abuse stopped.

Going through life she had a lot of issues that needed to be sorted out, from anger, people pleasing, to complaining and so on.  Her past left her in the sense of her being touched and abused but all that it left behind was still there.

This woman today has a world wide ministry, she travels all over the world helping people with the same issues she had and more, she is known for her books and teachings on your thoughts and how to enjoy everyday life in the midst of the storm she is Joyce Meyer and she is a powerful speaker and she knows and lives by the word of God.  The scripture Romans 8:28, and Romans 8:31-32 is an true example her story.  God worked all that she went through out for her good.  No he did not deliver her from it but as she stated numerous of times, that he gave her the strength to endure it, and she now is doing what she does not because of it.  She said she can't imagine what her life would have been like if she had not gone through that because it has made her the woman she is today!

If we can only be the same way with our situation.  I know someone right now is going through something that seems really bad, that you just want to get out of it.  I know I have been there and is there right now.  I want something I am going through right now to just disappear!  But I have this scripture in mind.  My heart has been filled with joy in the midst of the storm, it has been filled with hope because I stand on that scripture.  All things work together for the good.  If you are a child of God know that what you are going through is going to work together for your good.  God is for us!  And if he gave up his son for YOU then all the other things that our heart desire that is according to his will he will freely give to us!

If he gave his son for you, he freely gave you peace, joy, love, patience, long suffering all those things! I know some of them are not some we want but if he gave them to us they are for our benefit.

Daily Devotional Feb 26th

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  Isaiah 40:31

As I am suffering a terrible headache right at this moment I am depending on this scripture.  My hope is in the Lord so my strength will be renewed where I will not grow weary, I will not go faint as I walk.  It times of tiredness of everyday life ripping and running or tiredness of being sick, or hurting take this scripture to heart.  When I start to feel sad about having the same ongoing issue, I have to remind myself that although I may not be able, God is able.  Although I cannot bare my cares right now he can because the bible says that he cares for us and to cast all our cares upon him. 1 peter 5:7  Psalms
55:22 says Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.  You are the righteousness of God!  Do you hear me people of God, you are the righteousness of GOD!!!! Be of good cheer!!!!  Although I am suffering right now I can be of good cheer for my God loves me, he will never let me fall!  He will sustain me!  I love you all and I hope that this little nugget of devotion will help you in you situation. Meditate on these scriptures and let God fill you with his presence while you are in the midst of!  To all that will be attending Sunday services I pray that you are expecting something great from God for you, your family, and those family members that are in Christ.  For those that may not be able to because of a health issue, or are sick and shut in, I pray the peace of God over you, I pray that the Holy Spirit will enable you and do something special for you this day.  I pray that during the midnight hours God shows up for you and let this situation be a testimony to your deliverance.  Believe and you shall receive!  God will show up for you in some way.  I have faith so put your faith with mine.

God Bless

Daily Devotional Feb 23rd

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39

Paul hated christians at one point in his life and even killed them.  But God revealed himself to paul and on the road to Damascus God really showed him who he was touching, who is what that he was killing.  God did not hate Paul but hated paul's sin.  Once Paul was aware of God and who he was he was truely converted! He never went back to his old way of living and he encourage many!  Nothing seperated Paul from the love he knew God had for him, even when he was killing off God's people.  If Paul had let go of the love of God he would have went back to his old way of living.  So he was encouraging us to not let anything seperate us from the love of God.  God will love us no matter what, but we can make ourselves think that God does not love us for what we may have done in our past.  We cannot let our past determine our future.  God knew who Paul really was.  And once Paul came into the knowledge of God, God began to show him who he really was.  Just like God is saying to you, I know you did this and you have done that but Abide in me and I in you You will bear much fruit. John 15:4  That is what Paul did, he beared much fruit while he was here on earth.  Paul let nothing seperate him from the love of God non of those things listed in that verse above he let seperate him from God so I encourage you to do the same today!

God Bless!

How much does appearance matter?

1 Samuel 16:7 The lord doesn't see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the lord looks at the heart.
Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
Romans 8:10 Christ lives within you.
Ephesians 5:8-9 Once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord...This light within you produces only what is good and right and true.
1 peter 3:3-4 Don't be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hhairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. you should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

These scripture give what the bible has to say about appearance.  appearance does matter however we have to make sure our focus is on the right things.  Our bodies are in a constant process of aging, and decay.  So if we put to much into our outward appearance then we will never be fully satasifed.  Who we really are are our soul our character, our inner being.  That is what is ageless and that is what God loves and focus on.  Our spiritual apperarance is what is important.  What an impact you can have on others when they miss what is on the inside becaue they are so focused on what is on the inside.  Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with paying attention to your outward appearance.  God want's us to look nice, feel nice and be presentable.  We just have to know that the outward is constantly changing!

When we are desiring to have someone in our life for a relationship and for marriage, we have these things that we say we would like to have.  I want him to be tall, have this sort of build, this job, I want his teeth with no spaces in them, I don't want him to have a huge head, or if he is parrot toed I will pass.  All these things may be important and some of them are not bad preferences but we have see beyond appearance especially of we are women of God! There is a high piority need for us to look to the  inward appearance as well as the outward.
Does he love the Lord?  If he atleast know God and loves him everything else can be worked out.  If he does not know the Lord You should not care how good he looks!

How can I see beyond appearances?

Matthew 7:16-17, 20
You can identify (false Prophets) by their fruit, that is by the eay they act...a good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces  bad fruit....Yes, just as you can identify a tree by it's fruit so you can identify people by their actions.
1 John4:1
Do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the spirit.  You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God.

Is there any value to maintaining a good appearance?
Ecclesiates 9:7-8, 11:9-10, 12:13
Eat your food with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, for God approves of this!  Wear fine clothes, with a splash of cologne!...But remember that you must give an account to God for everything that you do. SO refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy...Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone's duty
Matthew 6:17
When you fast, comb your hair and wash your face.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Don't you realize tht your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. who lives in you and was given to you by God?  you do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

My sister in Christ don't be obsessed with you physical appearance but neither should you ignore it.  How you present yourself is in part a reflection of who you are.  It play a role in how you interact with others.  There are things about my body that I don't not love but I know the God who created me Loves it and that his spirit lives there in spite of some physical dislikes.  I like to look nice wear makeup and smell good and I know my Husband loves it also but it is not my main focus because even when I am not looking my best he looks at me the same and loves me the same becaue It's what's on the inside that caught his eye also.  God loved us not because our appearance but the because of the spirit he gave us, that he created us in his image.

No Worries Mini Album

This is my no Worries Mini album! After experiencing a few months of just worrying I have been set free of worry because I know what God has to say about worry!  Making this album was a healing process to me! All the things that was worrying me I put them into this album and let them Go!  My health problems, Having to overcome, my fears of serving what I thought I would loose everything.  I put his promises in this album to remind me of what I overcame, what I conqured, what fears I decided not to worry about and let God handle them.  I named it NO WORRIES!!!

This page I added a page from my mini bible a scripture about worry.  I added those things I was worried about.  The things I worried about that are in this album I no longer worry about them.  Some have been already taken care of and others are still being worked out.  I am not worried about them though!
Prayer is very important to me! It has saved my life as a child and as an adult.  Prayer keeps me sane because I know I am talking to the father and he hears me!  He hears our cry, he hears our needs and he is waiting to answer prayers of those who love him when it is the right time.  I wanted to share my love for scripture and how the talent to be creative God has given me.  If any teens are out there reading this blog and you are going through something that you are not sure what to do.  God has given you gifts and talents.  The talents he gives are not just for your personal use but to use for his glory!  He has also given me this as an outlet to express myself!  I can let go and be free to think and use what is inside me when I am being creative!  If you read my testimony when I was a young girl I found crafting and creativity as a place of safety and time to see me!  God gave me a way of escape from all that I endured.  Even though I would have a bad day wondering where my mom was...once I got my brothers to bed I would sit in my room and just make stuff! Clothes for my dolls, add lace to washclothes and make them pretty, just create!  Find out what talents God has given you! Standing on the streets selling drugs, smoking drugs, selling yourselves, behaving in a manner that is not pleasing to your parents or an almightly God is not from God, it is not a talent.  Find what he placed inside you, something you had in you since you can remember that puts you in a happy place!  If you need prayer or additional information on anything please send me an email at

Who Am I?

It is always said by People that have been around the block for awhile that you won't know who you are until at least your forties.  And sometimes then you still don't know who you are.  I always wanted to know that by who's standards and what standards determine that we have reached the point that we know who we are?  So many struggle at wondering who they are, how they fit in, where they fit in, are they good enough?  All these question that leave a big ?  I always knew that for my age I was mature and I pretty much knew what I wanted in life because of what I had been through as a child, and I knew I wanted to be better than what I saw.  I often kept the words of those older than me that I will not know who I am until I am at least forty.  I kind of second guessed if the things I so desired or had in my heart were the same things I would want when I was forty.  I heard Oprah says this many times on her show that even after 40 you are still trying to figure out who you are.  I knew for a fact that I did not want that to be me.  Once I started getting deeper into God's words and knowing that since I know Jesus I have an identity in him.  That I am marked and sealed and have been set apart.  Everything that I was prior to him has passed away and all things have become new.  What I am saying is that maybe before I was born again I may not have known who I was until I was forty, but now that I have the Christ living on the inside of me I know who I am right now!  If you are 18, 19, 20, even 30 you can know who you are right now!  There is no age limit with God, you don't have to wait until you have children, have a husband, or a great job title, a great car, or a certain amount of money.  You can know who you are at this very moment!

This is awesome news!  Right now you may be at your computer wondering when things will change for you, when will things get better in your marriage.  You may have devoted you all into your husband children or even Job.  You may say apart from all those things you are no one.  But beloved I am here to tell you that the devil is a liar!  The God that created heaven and earth, the God that sits up high and looks down low, the God who never slumber nor sleep, the God who does not have a beginning or ending has given you an identity through his precious son Jesus Christ!  He has called you to be a friend of his.  He has called YOU  into fellowship with him!  1Cor 1:9 says God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.  He has called you!  Your identity is Christ!  You are a child of the Most High!

Let's look at Joseph for a moment.  Joseph at the age of 17 was sold into slavery by his brothers.  Joseph has dreams!  God gave Joseph dreams that as far as his brothers and father were concerned were dreams to rule over them!  They did not like that but Joseph believed every dream and he held onto them.  Before those dreams he did not know who he was but when God started working with him he began to have an identity.  So he was sold and when he was bought by an officer of the Pharaoh of Egypt named Potiphar, God was with him (Gen 39:2) God made him successful!  Now Joseph was only 17 years old when God gave him an identity.  It was not at thirty or forty but at age 17!  Had he not have the favor of God with him he may have been an elder man when he truly became to know who he was.

As Joseph's story continues he became the right hand man of Potiphar and he left Joseph in charge of all he had.  The only one thing he withheld from Joseph was his wife.  His wife wanted Joseph but Joseph was smart, had respect, has wisdom, had a goodness about him, that he did resisted temptation.  When you have an identity in God you can do things that you can't do outside of him.  God being with Joseph helped him to resist her, the empowering presence of God helped him.  Potiphar's wife lied to him and said Joseph tried to lay with her.  Joseph tried to state his case but he was not believed and was thrown into prison.

Joseph was in prison found favor by interpreting the dreams of some guards of Pharaoh that he was angry with and then interpreted the dreams of the Pharaoh then he was released from prison and and was in charge of all the land in Egypt!  He knew that God was with Joseph and placed him in charge.  I am going to skim through this but you can read his story in Genesis!

There was a famine and Joseph was prepared for it and people from all over came to buy food from Joseph.  His brothers that has sold him 20 years before came there to buy food not knowing that Joseph their brother they sold into slavery was the man in charge.  Joseph recognized them and remembered his dreams from when he was 17 years old.  He has some feelings toward them for doing what they had done and called them spies, he did not reveal who he was at that time.  After making them go and come go and come he could not hold off his identity any longer he made himself known.  He knew who he was years ago but it was not time to show his family who he was.  He said I am Joseph! (Genesis 45:2)

It is time that you say who you are!  I know for a long time I wanted to know who I was other than a mother, other than a wife, other than a sister.  But I can say like Joseph said...I am Toccara a child of God!  I am:

The redeemed (Colossians 1:13-14)
The chosen one (1 peter 2:9)
The justified ( Romans 3:24)
Set Free Romans (6:17-18)
I am the one who can do all things through Christ (Phillippians 4:13)
I am the one who has recieved the spirit that is from God (1 Cor 2:2)
I am Loved by God ( John 3:16)
I am a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 corinthians 5:17)
I am the one that does not have to worry(Matthew 5:31-34
Iam the one that does not have to afraid( Psalm 56:11)
I am God's handiwork (Eph 2:10)

I am 28 years old and I know who I am!  I know who I am in Christ!  If I had listened to the worlds ideas on when we reach an age of knowing who we are I would not be the woman I am today.  Joseph knew fully who he was at a young age and even if he had not know who he was until he made himself known it would have been at age  37 years old when he revealed himself to his brothers.  God standards are not like the world standards, if you are struggling today with wanting to know who you are my question for you today is if you are A christian and whatever age you are you are a child of God and there are somethings like the ones stated above that you are.  I gave you the scriptures behind them and I recommend that you read them, meditate upon them and get to know today who you are.  The Ancient of Days knows who you are right now, he has know since the foundation of the world but he want you to know what he already knows.  I pray that this bless you!  If you need prayer please send me an email at and I will be happy to pray with you and believe God with you concerning the issues of life and your desires of knowing who you are in Christ!  You will no longer have to ask your self Who Am I?

Daily Devotional Feb 15th

Set your Mind's on the things above, not on earthly things. Colossians 3:2

We can get much further in our goals when we set our minds on the things above.  what does it mean to set your mind on the things above and not on earthly things?  When you focus on God, his plans, his ways, having his thoughts you will not focus on earthly things like material gain, hardships, troubles, finances etc.  Of course those things are things that we have to deal with daily but if we continue to reverse this scripture and set our minds on earthly things then how can we focus on God, his plans, his thoughts, his ways... His ways are perfect, his thoughts will take us from glory to glory to glory, He has all the answers, so when we are not focused on the one that can do all things then we will not reap the benefits of this Christian life we are living.  Gos wants us to live in peace, having a sound mind, having joy, having love.

We can not do those things if we are focused on earthly things.  Earthly things are temporary, so that is why our heavenly father tells us not to focus on them.  But the things above are forever.  The bible states that this life and all that is in it will perish but he will not his kingdom will not.  After knowing this is is wise to say that this scripture is a word of advice that is going to help us live and enjoy life!  Not having hardships and troubles, tribulations are not ways to enjoy life but when we are going through them knowing that we have an advocate that is interceding on our behalf. He promised us someone that will come to be this for us! John 16:7. As I am going through my own troubles I am focused on the things above, Ministry, God's ways, what his word has to say about that trouble that is troubling me, praying, praying for others that may be going through the same issues that I am dealing with.  What a way to be set free is to not only think of yourself when you are going through but intercede for someone else that you may or may not know for Gos to also help them.

Today meditate on this scripture and let God speak to you and help you be obedient to this scripture.  I pray that this scripture has helped you and my teaching has helped as it has helped me and is helping me right now today!

Happy Valentine's Day! A Love that never fails

Hello To all my Members here on Beautiful Awakening!  Today the all around the world people are celebrating "LOVE"  Showing those they love they how much they love them by buying jewelry, candy, teddy bears, balloons, and other items that are sold on this day.  Today I want us to look at the love of God! How much God loved us! I think of John 3:16 on this day.  For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever shall believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life!  What great love, that is! Think of the love Jesus must have felt for you and I that he took being mocked, bruised, beaten and hung up on a tree for everyone to watch him die.  He knew all these things would happen but he loved us enough and wanted us enough to dwell with him one day to still do it anyway.  He said not my will but you will be done to the father.  Jesus was sent here to love us unconditionally!  He was sent to love us beyond our mistakes, To love us without anger, without hatred, without all the things we posses.  I am so grateful for the love God has lavished on me!  Every year I celebrate Valentine's Day with my family but it has a greater meaning to me because I think of God's love! Think of his love today!  Share the love of God with someone it will be the best valentine's Day for them to except the Son of Man as their Lord and Savior!

For those of you that are crafty For a project challenge:

Create a list of the ways that God has shown his love toward you personally.   you can do this in a layout form in the form of a card, what ever you choose.  This is for those who are crafty and those who love to make christian creations.
God Bless and remember

REVIVAL Feb 11th 2011

Yesterday was the second night of a two day revival.  I attended last night's service and it was awesome.  Last week God truely blessed me with his own spirit and I went to a higher level in him.  I got to see first hand what he has called me to do.  It was amazing to see his spirit there healing people physically, emotionally and finically.  When I was called up and told I was going to see and experience first hand what the power God has given me I was open to see God work in a way I had never seen him before.  I felt people pain on the inside of me, I felt when God was moving and healing.  I also got to see how some God just can not work in if there spirit is not open to recieving God's blessings and healing.  I was truely moved and thankful that I open my heart to recieve.  I had been asking God for a long time to give me the anointing to healing the physically sick, to give me the glory from him to lay hand on the sick.  I am very passionate about people being sick.

God has softened my heart and I desire to see people healed, especially those who belong to him.  Sometimes the pain and hurt is so bad that we do not know how we ought to pray, some just don't have enough faith to believe the promises of God and what God says is available to those who love him.  That is where faith of those who believe in God's healing Power!  I was healed of issues in my reproductive system, healed of past pain, past thoughts, past feeling, so that I can now operate in the gift.  I want to encourage you today that with God it is never over! It is never to late for you!

God want's to  empower us with his own spirit to walk in total obdience to him and be set free from our past, to do what jesus did.  To recieve the baptism in the holy spirit and with fire! Luke 3:15-18 I know some may have diferences in there belief of these scriptures but I take scriptures as they are and if the bible said it I am going to walk in it because the word of God says that his word will not return unto him void.  So recieve it if you believe it!
Luke 3:15-18 The people were waiting expectantly and were all wondering in their hearts if John might possibly be the Christ. John answered them all, "I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." And with many other words John exhorted the people and preached the good news to them.

Your tests are truely your testimony!  What you have been through, what you are going through right now is going to take you deeper in christ.  See what Romans 8:28 says:
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

God is and will work out every situation.  As chldren of God we don't know how to pray always or what to pray but we can know the purpose of God which the Holy Spirit desires to accomplish.  All things will work together in cooperation  for the believer's good will, that is we will be comformed to jesus christ now and reign with him later.  He is comforming us now to get his work done here on earth and so that when we Go to him later we will be perfect.  How many of you can agree that with the things we deal with emotionally, our attitudes and thoughts we can not go to  heaven with?  We cannot go with all these issues so we have to deal with them now.  We will have a new body one day, one that will never age or die but we will still be ourselves the same soul we have now is the same one we will have then.  So we have to prepare now to live eternally with God!  The attitudes we have, thoughts, and issues will not fly in heaven.

As in the B.A. Journal topic you were to wirte about what God has called you to do?  We have to know this because there is something for each of us to do if we are his child and we have to be busy with the things of God.  Ask him daily until he answers you.  He said if you ask he will answer you.  He will tell you and then he may tell someone else and you will know it is him speaking because he would have told you first already.  But have an ear to hear the voice of God so that you can operate just as Jesus did.  Jesus told his diciples that they will do the same works as he did, and they will do even greater things. Luke 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Someone should get really excited because we just read a scripture from the bible that anyone can do what jesus did and even greater things!!!!  Ask him for the power that fire to do what he said in this scripture.
Your attitude determine's your altitude.  Have the right attitude about His promise of what we can do with the Holy Spirit and we will soar like the eagles!

God Bless!

A Wonderful God!

Yesterday I went to the doctors office and because since November of 2010 I got an ultrasound on my uterus and was said that it was enlarged and the endometruim was thick.  I was to see a GYN. So that they can discuss with me treatment options.  When I got this news I had just got over being really sick from an overdose of medicne and was terribly sick for weeks and lost 18 pounds.  SO finding this out was a little scary for me.  I immediately began to pray and I was believing God to heal me of it, to completely shrink it back down to the right size.  This finding and other women in my congergation having similar issues in the Reproductive System drove my daily prayer and petition to God for myself and others that are having these problems. Especially believers!  Well after months of this I went to the GYN where they reffered me.  First I ended up having the same Doc that assisted with my mom's surgery back in November and they really took care of my Mom.  I had something amazing happen to me in Church Sunday and God has taken me to another level with Gifts and Power.  So I continued in prayer as the days came and I sat in that room yesterday being fully pursuaded that they were not going to find anything that what they saw before was not going to be there.  It was confirmed by what happened to me in Church the day before.  It was a big move of God in the house of God Sunday.  She came in and said Well I am not sure what they saw on your ultrasound but I find nothing abnormal about your ultrasound.  Everything is normal.  I begin to praise God right there in the Doctor's office and they got all excited with me.  They were smiling and saying I know it has been since November and to have this told to you must have been scary.  I told her it was not even that because I was obedient in not worrying but  Itold her my fith has everything to do with why I am like this.  I am just amazed at my God!  She said well I have nothing but good news for you!  Two things that they found wrong ending up being NONE!!!!

I am not sure about you but When you believe and petition God he is faithful when you belong to him!  I prayed for myself and not only for myself but I have been believing God for others.  As in my post about the reproductive system and the payer for that in my side bar! I believe that he has done it already for hundreds maybe even thousands!  I am truely seeking God concerning this and he is moving.   This was only a move of God!  He is faithful my sisters!  The Word says that you may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.  John 14:14   That is simply put.  That is what he said.

If you need healing in your physical bodies,  God is willing and able! Jer 29:11 I know the plans that I have for you says the lord; plans for you to prosper and to succeed and to do well.  He does not want us serving him sick where we are bound to our homes where we can't function, where we can't do what he has called us to do.  Paul stated that although he has a thorn in his side, in his weakness God made him strong.  God can give you the strenght to do his work.  Although Doctors may say that you will never be able to do this or do that but with God all things are possible.  The children of God are do not have to agree with what the world or man says! My favorite bible scripture states that In God I trust I will not be afraid; what can man do to me? Psalm 56:11  Man can do nothing to us if we trust in God! Satan has no power when you are pleading the blood of the lamb over your lives.  Just open up your mouth and state thus saith the Lord.  If he did it for me he can do it for you!  If he did it for those in the bible he can do it for you!  I encourge you today to open your mouth! Send me your prayer request so I can believe God with you.  Gos is there in the midst when 2 or more are gathered in his name petitioning him!

I love you all and God Bless you!

Daily Devotional Feb7th

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
Ecclesiastes 3:1

We have to know that God has a perfect timing for everything.  When we pray to him ans ask him for things in prayer, know that he is listening to you and that he hears you.  There is a condition:  We have to wait until the proper time.  Think about how God create man.  He could have created man before everything else but there was a time for him to do so.  No matter what we are going through God's timing is perfect.  If it is that job you have been waiting for, or a family member to come to christ.  It may be to be finicially stable.  Maybe you have been waiting for your spouse to come to know christ.  Just know that he has it under control.  Today you may not have recieved what you are waiting for but know that each day that goes by, you are a day closer to what you have been asking for.  If you are a child of the Most High God he has your best interest in mind and he is just waiting to get you what you need, he see's that you want it bad or that you need it bad but he knows all things and he knows the perfect time where it will bless you and you will know that it is him that gave you what you are asking for.

Thoughts To Ponder:
Sometimes if we get what we ask for when we are not fully focused we may miss God and we may miss the lesson and instructions he wants us to have when he gives us something.  We don't want to look back or be impatient and miss God in our lives. Lot's wife looked backe because she was not fully focused on what God was trying to do.  She wanted better but she has distractions and she did not make it.  The same as we wait until the perfect time to give good things to our children and families like we see something they want and we say " It will be perfect to give them that on their birthday or anniversay etc. Then how much more your Heavenly Father carefully plans and wait until what you ask will be perfect for you, and in perfect timing.

But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. Genesis 19:26

We should thank God that he wants the blessings he gives and the gifts he gives to be just right for us.  He wants us to enjoy and savor everything he gives us that we ask him for in prayer. So thank him today!

James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Psalm 20:4
May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans!

Daliy Devotional Feb 3rd

Out with the Old In with the New!

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; Ephesians 4:22

Is there some attitude that you posess that you would like to get rid of?  Is there something's from your past that you don't want to deal with anymore?  Or are you wondering if your thoughts, feelings, and attitudes are  right?  Well most likely if you posessed these things when you were not a believer, and still deal with them today as a believer, chances are that you need to reguard or put off you former way of life.  That is your thoughts, feelings towards things, and attitudes.  Your old self is no longer excpetable to God.  I was struggling with my past in some areas and I asked God are my feelings right?  I got revelation with this scripture.  Today spend time with God asking him to give you the strength of his Holy Spirit to put off your former way of life... to put off your old self.  Think about it this way, if your former self was so good and all that you posess like your thoughts, feeling, desires, attitudes, then why did you come to God in the first place?  That is a question to ask yourself and you will start to open up all the thoughts to when you wanted Christ into your life what were some of the things that were wrong that brought you to him.  How do we live out what Ephesians 4:22 is saying.

1. Pray- tell him everything, he knows it anyway but he wants us to tell him leaving nothing out.
2. Study- After you pray you should get into the word so that God can begin to give you the answers through his word.
3. Meditate- Once we have talked to God, and opened his word, give him time to speak to you.  Sometimes we are so busy talking and then once we finish we get up and go on about our day.  Sit for awhile and let him speak back to you.  It is not good being in a one sided conversation.
4. Practice- practice what you have learned, We have to put God's word to practice in order to benefit from it.  It does us no good if we don't practice and excerise our faith and the instructions God has given us.
